Jay Klapper founded Tech Talent Agency after conceiving of the innovative business model in 2003. He has exclusively represented some of the world’s most successful senior technical talents, from chief information officers to programmers. Jay is passionate about connecting the tech elite with cutting-edge companies in hopes that the relationships will translate into a meaningful future.
Jay began his technology career in 1996 as a tech recruiter, just as the Internet and dot-com explosion kicked off. He quickly forged relationships with some of the largest tech organizations eager to hire top-notch programmers. He soon became the company’s top producing recruiter. In 1999, he founded Top Tier Associates, a successful technology executive search firm.
Outside of TTA, Jay supports several local community organizations and is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity International. He also had the privilege of providing pro bono recruiting services to create a technology team for the renowned nonprofit, 9/11 United Services Group, an organization that was central in servicing victims affected by the World Trade Center attack. Jay earned a bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva University and a diploma from New York University.
